Volunteer Michael Garnett and a team of 11 serving soldiers dressed in World War I uniforms are maching to Ypres to commemorate the 90th Anniversary of the end of the First World War.

A Clay Pigeon Shoot will take place at The Royal Bershire Shooting Ground, Pangbourne, Berkshire
Friday 24th October 2008, 8pm until 1am
The evening will include a complimentary drink on arrival, a speech at 9pm given by the current Commanding Officer of OPTAG, (the main pre-deployment training centre), a silent auction and tombola, live DJ’s and dancing until 1am, a laser clay pigeon shoot and much more.

The Annual Remembrance Concert will once again take place at Ayr Town Hall. Organised by Hollybush House this will follow the style of the Royal Albert Hall Festival of Remembrance.

Staff and pupils at Stamford School have designed charity wrist bands which feature the words "Proud to support our troops"

Mark Dawes runs a company The National Federation For Personal Safety (NFPS) which specialises in Conflict Risk Management. This year Mark has decided to donate a percentage of his company's profits this year to support Combat Stress.
