Welfare and Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
What We Provide
Combat Stress offers short stay remedial treatment at three specialist short-stay Treatment Centres in Shropshire, Surrey and Ayrshire. These provide a range of treatments including psychiatric support and occupational therapy to help veterans rebuild their lives and provide a break for the families of traumatised veterans.
Our Welfare Service comprises 12 regional Welfare Officers covering the whole of the British Isles and Ireland to support the veterans in their own homes. These individuals and their support teams are usually the first contact the veteran has with Combat Stress, their sympathetic ear and understanding manner can be great solace to the anxious or nervous veteran at the other end of the telephone.
