Your gifts will help our veterans in many ways. Here are a few examples of what your money will pay for:
£20.00 pays for an hour of nursing care
£30.00 pays for a session in the Activities Centre
£150.00 pays for an hour of psychiatric counselling
£160.00 pays for a full day's rehabilitation treatment at one of our Specialist Treatment Centres.
The Ex-Services Mental Welfare Society keeps it's administrative and fund raising expenses to the barest minimum. This means that your donation goes directly to help the individuals. Income from the War Pensions Agency to fund the cost of treatment and travel for qualifying war pensioners is vital and amounted to £1.5 million. At present the annual cost of running the charity is £5 million, which leaves a substantial shortfall, to be raised though appeals and donations.
There are many ways in which you can support the Society in providing rehabilitative treatment for ex-service men and women.

Leaving a gift in your will is a great way to donate money. Two thirds of the population fail to make a will. This means that the people who they want to benefit from their estate won't, and the Crown can end up with the entire amount.
