Founded in 1919, Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity specialising in the care of Veterans' mental health. We have supported more than 100,000 ex-Service men and women of every campaign that British forces have been involved in since the First World War.
We have a current caseload of more than 5,400 Veterans, including 806 who served in Iraq and 519 who served in Afghanistan. Our youngest Veteran is just 18 years old.

We receive a lot of enquries from university students seeking interviews with Veterans and/or staff. Due to the high volume of requests we can only provide interviews to those studying a medical degree or a PhD.
