Combat Stress 90th anniversary

On 12 May 2009 the charity commemorated its 90th anniversary with a special service at Westminster Abbey, attended by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall together with 1,000 other supporters.

In the nine decades since we were founded, Combat Stress has helped almost 100,000 Veterans with psychological wounds rebuild their lives.

With 1,257 new referrals received last year, our work is as relevant today as it was when we were founded in 1919.
