His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales visited Tyrwhitt House, Surrey, today for a private visit. Prince Harry met with Veterans and staff at the treatment centre to find out more about the vital work that we do.
Peter Poole, Acting Chief Executive of Combat Stress said:
“We’re delighted that Prince Harry wanted to visit Combat Stress to learn more about how we support Veterans with psychological injuries and mental ill-health, both at our treatment centres and in the community.
“He was interested in our clinical work and specialist Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Intensive Treatment Programme, a residential course commissioned by the NHS which is available free of charge to Veterans as part of their recovery and rehabilitation.
“We are currently working with over 5,600 ex-Service personnel nationwide, and those with us today were absolutely delighted to meet and chat with Prince Harry.”
