Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Manager

Based at our Tyrwhitt House treatment centre in Leatherhead, Surrey

Combat Stress is the UK's leading military charity specialising in the care of Veterans' mental health. We look after men and women who are suffering from a psychological condition related to their Service career. This might be depression, anxiety, a phobia or PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

We are currently looking for a Clinical Audit and Effectiveness manager to implement a Clinical Audit Strategy and an Annual Clinical Audit Programme, taking into account best practice and agreed standards from National Service Frameworks (NSFs), NICE guidance and professional bodies.

The successful candidate will also be required to assist in ensuring Combat Stress, where appropriate, fulfils its obligation for statutory reporting across a range of clinical audit issues. They will also need to liaise directly and on own initiative with healthcare professionals in order to support auditing of current practice within the treatment centres, encouraging a multidisciplinary audit where appropriate.

There will also be a requirement to facilitate the design of data collection methods, ensuring adherence to standards of data protection and information governance, set up databases and spreadsheets, enter data and analyse results using appropriate statistical methods.
