Community Psychiatric Nurse —
Tedworth House, Wiltshire

Band 6 - dependent on experience

We are now in a position to recruit for the Community Psychiatric Nurse at Tedworth House in Tidworth, Wiltshire.

Tedworth House, Personnel Recovery Centre (PRC) will provide living and learning accommodation for those on the road to recovery - giving those injured in the line of duty the very best opportunities to face a fulfilling future.  Additionally it will provide a welfare hub for those who have left the service to ensure they can continue to be part of an extended fellowship.

The Combat Stress Community Psychiatric Nurse will be based within the PRC and will work alongside the PRC Staff, Combat Stress and other ex-Service organisations.  The Community Psychiatric Nurse will focus on work with Veterans who have left the Services and liaise closely with the PRU and Defence Medical Services to provide care and support for those leaving the Service with identified mental health needs.

You will be responsible for the provision of high quality clinical support in the form of assessment, and delivery of individual and group therapies and will provide family/carer advice, counselling and support.
