Our Treatment Centres: Tyrwhitt House

Leatherhead, Surrey

A comfortably furnished home with a country house atmosphere, the building was purchased by the Society in 1946 from the Port Line (now P&O). The house was renamed after the then President of the Society, Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Reginald Yorke Tyrwhitt. The house has undergone a complete refurbishment with a new 21 ground single bedroom unit being added to the existing 9 bed Jacqueline Mayo unit in 2000.

An occupational therapy unit is available.
