Combat Stress Trustee receives MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours

It was announced on Friday that Colonel Robert Ward, Trustee for Combat Stress, has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours for voluntary services to the veteran community.

The Queen's birthday honours list recognises the achievements and service of people across the UK. Colonel Robert Ward, a Trustee, supporter and former Honorary Treasurer for Combat Stress, the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans, was awarded an MBE for his commitment to veterans’ mental health.

 Sue Freeth, Chief Executive of Combat Stress said;

“We would like to congratulate Colonel Robert Ward on receiving his MBE for his dedication to veterans’ mental health.

“As a Trustee of Combat Stress for the past 14 years, we are delighted that he has received recognition for the service he has given to veterans.”
