Status: Permanent

Salary: Band 4, £19,697-23,020 per annum dependent on experience, plus 5% fringe allowance

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans of the UK Armed Forces. We provide free specialist clinical treatment and support to ex-servicemen and women across the UK with mental health conditions.

We treat conditions including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety. We provide a range of free services including short-stay clinical treatment, a specialist PTSD Intensive Treatment Programme, Occupational Therapy, Community support and a free 24-hour Helpline.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us in the new role of 1st Line Support Analyst. You will sit within our busy IT Department and will be the first point of contact for all IT issues, ensuring that all users benefit from a high-quality IT service experience across all systems.

As an experienced 1st Line Support Analyst, you will be seeking your next challenge, where you have strong interpersonal, collaboration skills and security awareness as well as strong knowledge of the following technologies;

  • Windows 7/10
  • Microsoft Office & Office 365
  • Avaya Telephone Systems
  • Remote Desktop Support tools
  • basic Active Directory Administration

As well as this, you will have had exposure to PC/Laptop, tablet and smart phone configuration and imaging.

You will have an enthusiastic and adaptable approach to the role and understand the need to develop clear and realistic timelines and priorities.  You will also need to be flexible and open to new approaches and able to work autonomously and as part of the larger IT team.

Due to our location, a full UK Driving License would be desirable.
