Leonardo Apprentices leading the way for Veteran Mental Health

Combat Stress have been honoured to be supported by the Leonardo Apprentices over the last five years, who have raised life-changing sums of money for veterans being treated at Combat Stress.

As part of the company's ongoing commitment to charitable causes, the Leonardo Apprentices joined the Combat Stress team in helping to form part of the historic Tower Poppies art installation 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red', which marked 100 years since the first full day of Britain's involvement in the First World War. In total, 888,246 ceramic poppies eventually filled the Tower's famous moat, with the final flower being planted on Armistice Day on 11 November.

“There are so many fundraising events that you can take part in within the company that allows you to meet new people. We have a chosen charity - Combat Stress - that we raise many for. The fundraising initiatives we are involved in are incredible, and as apprentices we have a big role in setting up and doing them.”
