We are pleased to announce that, on 19 December 2022, Combat Stress was awarded with accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, after meeting the standards threshold.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists has a long history of driving high quality care by setting standards against what good practice should look like. Their accreditation process consists of evaluating the quality of clinical services and promoting quality improvement through highlighting areas of best practice and areas for change.

Professor Catherine Kinane, Medical Director at Combat Stress said “We are delighted to have received this prestigious accreditation which recognises the high standards of treatment and support Combat Stress provide to veterans.

"The accreditation will last for three years, but we are committed to continuing to achieve increasingly high standards, and further demonstrating our dedication to supporting veterans with complex mental health problems”.
